How do we need to rethink our ideas of literacy when we must prepare our students to become not only readers and writers, but editors and collaborators as well?
The internet has evolved reading to more than just a reading activity. It now encompasses the ability to take what we read and allows us to write and collaborate with anyone who we might select as our learning partner. The ability to interact only allows one to go deeper into the subject. It opens up unlimited opportunity and allows for a greater involvement with learning. You are now in control of all material which you have access to and who you choose to share your learning experience with.
